Itinerary Feature
Along the Nature Trail - A trip to Kornati
Day 1 (Saturday) Kastela - Primosten
Sail three hours to Primosten, one of the most picturesque small towns on the Adriatic. The typical narrow streets of the old town are alive with cafes, cellar bars and restaurants. Dine in the evening on the seafront.
Day 2 Primosten - Skradin
After breakfast sail north into the Krka river and head for Skradin - a small and ancient city which goes back nearly two thousand years. Stroll around its charming streets, stopping off at the Bedrica wine shop and the large stone tavern in the main square, specialising in eels.
Day 3 Skradin - Zlarin
Set out early this morning for the Krka waterfalls: You can take a boat there, or hike if you're feeling energetic! After lunch, return to the open sea and the island of Zlarin, which boasts the longest stone pier in the Adriatic. Buy freshly-caught shellfish and ask the local Koralj restaurant to cook them for your supper!
Day 4 Zlarin - Telascica
After breakfast on board, sail to the entrance of the Kornati archipelago, stopping for a swim and lunch. Reach the protected area of Telascica Bay by mid-afternoon. Before dinner, take an early evening walk to the Lake of Peace at the edge of Uvala Mir, for spectacular views from the cliffs.
Day 5 Telascica - Lavsa/Smokvica
Sail south through the Kornati archipelago, stopping at the Islet of Levrnaka for a swim. View the impressive cliffs of Mana Island before lunching at one of the konoba taverns. Moor at Lavsa or Smokvica island, with spectacular panoramic views over the whole archipelago . Eat at the Piccol (the Turcinov brothers catch fish for their mother to cook) or at Ante's (a celebrated octopus fisherman).
Day 6 Smokvica/Lavsa - Kaprije
Sail for the island of Kaprije, either mooring beside the town or in the less well-known Vanjska and Gacice bays. Try the local taverns known for their fish dishes.
Day 7 Kaprije - Kastela
Set sail after breakfast, stopping for one last swim near the island of Veli Drvenik. Back in Kastela, dine at the tavern next to the marina or stroll down to the seafront. Or let us to take you our favourite haunt in Trogir, an old wooden sailboat serving magnificent fish stew, to round off a truly memorable holiday!
