Vis Island
A jewel in the Southern Adriatic in our opinion, with a colourful
history, from Roman times, the Naploeonic wars, right through to WWII.
Vis is also home to a number of spectacular restaurants, as well as
secluded bays like, Stiniva, Srebrena and Stoncica bay.
Hell's Islands
Just outside Hvar town, Hell's islands are a small picturesque
archipelago, where you can hide away in the crystal clear waters of its
many coves for a relaxed afternoon swim, before heading off to Hvar for
a few cocktails.
Sarahun beach
Located on "Dugi Otok" just North of the Kornati National Park, Saharun's sandy beach is a rare find in these waters.
Mana, Veli Rasip
Within the Western part of the Kornati Archipelago, the imposing cliffs
of Mana and Veli Rasip are a must see when cruising through this
stunning area.
Pustinja Blaca monastery
The 15th Century monastery, cut into the cliffs of Brac island, has
been in the same family of monks for over 500 years, is a rare view
into the past, and a great afternoon walk.
Mljet National Park
The saline lakes within the National Park on the island of Mljet, set
amongst a thick pine forest, is really worth a visit, and mountain
biking around the park is the best way to see it.
Hvar town
An obvious choice, although this fashionable port is really worth a
visit during the Summer months, for its Venetian architecture, its
impressive hilltop Fort, and of course the trendy cocktail bars, and
lively night life
The Elafiti islands
Home to the Summer houses of the Dukes of Dubrovnik, the trio of Sipan,
Lopud and Kolocep are also full of hidden coves that are best explored
by sea kayak.
Visovac Island
Visovac can be found nestled in the middle of a mountainous lake above
the Krka waterfalls, some 30 min drive inland from Skradin marina. A
real treat in the shoulder season.
Skrivena Luka ("The Hidden harbour") - Lastovo island
Almost invisible when cruising around Lastovo, this former pirate
hideaway, is now a pleasant bay ideal for a lazy afternoon's swimming
and snorkelling, and don't forget to try the lobster and Scorpion fish
in the tavern at the bottom of the bay.
