Who should choose this type of holiday?
Bare boating is ideally suited to the more experienced group of sailors where at least one of the group has a sailing qualification and relevant sailing experience. It can be a group of friends, couples, a small family or even two families sharing a yacht.

Our core fleet which is base in Split (Kastela) comprises of a selection of Beneteau and Jeanneau yachts which are in our ownership and management. This means the that the company that you are booking your holiday with is responsible for managing and maintaing the yachts and it gives a dgree of flexibility to respond to your needs and requirements. We also own and manage our own support infrastructure, emergency speedboats and mechanics to ensure that you have the support you need to be able to relax on your holiday. We also cover the Dubrovnik, Pula adn Biograd bases as agents for the authorised dealers of Beneteau, Jeanneau and Bavaria.

When you charter with Sail Croatia our U.K. staff will provide you with route planning advice, that can cover anything from recommended mooring and anchorages to restaurant suggestions, and you can still plug-in a variety of island activities into your route, from diving and mountain biking to vinyard visits.
What qualifications do i need to charter bareboat?
The local port authorities require us to charter yacht to guests with RYA Dayskipper (or above) ticket holders with a VHF license. We can also accept a variety of international qualifications. If you are unsure about your status please call us directly to clarify.
Which yachts are availalbe bareboat?
All but the largest yachts in our fleet are availalbe bareboat, such as the Jeanneau 54DS and the Beneteau 50. To see available yachts click
